As of 31 October 2026, our agent found a CLI, tested or documented, at 11 of 14 databases. A builder's agent can expect a CLI in [databases](/categories/databases) and [data warehouses](/categories/data-warehouses), and in [project management](/categories/project-management) it should plan on the API or the MCP server.

In databases, the CLI is listed at [Airtable](/tools/airtable), [Neon](/tools/neon), [PlanetScale](/tools/planetscale), [Supabase](/tools/supabase) and [Upstash](/tools/upstash), among others. Data warehouses list it at [ClickHouse Cloud](/tools/clickhouse) and [Tinybird](/tools/tinybird), among others. In project management, the CLI sits at [Jira](/tools/atlassian) and [Basecamp](/tools/basecamp). The [Basecamp](/tools/basecamp) CLI signs in with a device code, and that route needs a Basecamp account.

## Each category's API, MCP server, CLI and SDK, counted over its own products

Rows follow the number of products we drove in each category, largest first, and each count is over its own row's products. Categories with fewer products driven, 39 of 193 products in all, have no row of their own.

## Every project management and hosting and deploys product we drove lists an MCP server

Project management lists the API at 15 of 15 products and the MCP server at 15 of 15, from [Asana](/tools/asana) and [Linear](/tools/linear) to [Trello](/tools/trello) and [Wrike](/tools/wrike).

Hosting and deploys shows the same pair, with the API at 6 of 6 products and the MCP server at 6 of 6. That covers [Fly.io](/tools/fly), [Netlify](/tools/netlify), [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)](/tools/oracle), [Railway](/tools/railway), [Render](/tools/render) and [Vercel](/tools/vercel).

[Vercel](/tools/vercel) adds a CLI and an SDK to that pair. Its llms.txt carries agent guidance, and every docs page is also served as Markdown.

Customer support lists an MCP server at 7 of 10 products, at [Crisp](/tools/crisp), [Front](/tools/front), [Gorgias](/tools/gorgias), [Help Scout](/tools/helpscout), [Intercom](/tools/intercom), [Plain](/tools/plain) and [Zendesk](/tools/zendesk). Databases list an MCP server at 13 of 14 products.

Offering a surface is not the same as an agent being able to use it. [Agent surfaces](/findings/agent-surfaces) shows which surfaces worked for our agent.

## A CLI is listed at 4 of 6 hosting and deploys products and at none of the forms, invoicing or file storage tools we drove

In our reading of the table, the CLI splits developer infrastructure (databases, data warehouses, hosting and deploys) from business software (project management, CRM, customer support, forms, invoicing and file storage). Team chat sits outside that split, with a CLI at 5 of 7 products. Website builders list a CLI at [Framer](/tools/framer), [Webflow](/tools/webflow) and [Wix](/tools/wix), and email marketing at [Brevo](/tools/brevo), [Buttondown](/tools/buttondown) and [listmonk](/tools/listmonk).

The hosting and deploys products with a CLI are [Netlify](/tools/netlify), [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)](/tools/oracle), [Railway](/tools/railway) and [Vercel](/tools/vercel). [Netlify](/tools/netlify) documents an anonymous deploy from its CLI, and with no account our agent put a static site live that way. Without an account, the [Vercel](/tools/vercel) CLI made a temporary deployment with a static page and a Node function, and it went live.

The team chat products with a CLI are [Mattermost](/tools/mattermost), [Pumble](/tools/pumble), [Rocket.Chat](/tools/rocket), [Slack](/tools/slack) and [Twist](/tools/twist). The documented [Pumble](/tools/pumble) CLI login answered "Bad request". In email infrastructure, the [MailerSend](/tools/mailersend) CLI login hands off to the web app, which needs an existing account.

In CRM, a CLI is listed at 3 of 12 products, at [Attio](/tools/attio), [HubSpot](/tools/hubspot) and [Twenty](/tools/twenty). At [HubSpot](/tools/hubspot), the Agent CLI login needs an account. Customer support lists a CLI at 1 of 10 products, at [Chatwoot](/tools/chatwoot), whose docs include CLI pages.

On the developer side, [PlanetScale](/tools/planetscale) ships an agent guide inside its CLI. [PlanetScale](/tools/planetscale) documents a sign-up from its CLI, and our agent made its account that way in a terminal. At [ClickHouse Cloud](/tools/clickhouse), the CLI's device login gave our agent a token without the console key page, and that token is read-only.

At [Webflow](/tools/webflow), the CLI login gave our agent a workspace token after a consent click in the browser, and the CLI then deployed a Webflow Cloud app and its site. In social media scheduling, [Buffer](/tools/buffer) lists a CLI, with CLI, MCP and Agent Setup guides. [Graphite](/tools/graphite) lists no public API and lists a CLI. Its CLI ran locally for our agent with no account and built a stack of branches, and opening pull requests from it needs a [Graphite](/tools/graphite) account. The [Stripe](/tools/stripe) CLI created a test sandbox with working keys and no account registration, as its docs describe.

## SDKs turn up in data warehouses and payments and in none of forms, scheduling or source control

Data warehouses list an SDK at 4 of 6 products, among them [Databricks](/tools/databricks), [Snowflake](/tools/snowflake) and [Tinybird](/tools/tinybird). The docs at [Snowflake](/tools/snowflake) cover Python SDKs next to a SQL API, a REST API, CLIs and a managed MCP server.

Payments list an SDK at 4 of 7 products, at [GoCardless](/tools/gocardless), [Mollie](/tools/mollie), [Polar](/tools/polar) and [Square](/tools/squareup).

In databases, an SDK is listed at 4 of 14 products, at [Appwrite](/tools/appwrite), [Couchbase](/tools/couchbase), [MongoDB Atlas](/tools/mongodb) and [Upstash](/tools/upstash). Project management lists an SDK at 1 of 15 products, at [Basecamp](/tools/basecamp).

## In invoicing and file storage, where no product lists a CLI, the MCP server is listed at 5 of 5 and 5 of 6

Invoicing lists an API at 4 of 5 products, at [FreshBooks](/tools/freshbooks), [Invoice Ninja](/tools/invoiceninja), [Moneybird](/tools/moneybird) and [Xero](/tools/xero). The MCP server in invoicing is listed at [FreshBooks](/tools/freshbooks), [Moneybird](/tools/moneybird) and [Xero](/tools/xero), among others. Xero's docs include a Remote MCP FAQ, and Moneybird's developer site has an MCP page.

File storage lists an API at 3 of 6 products, at [Dropbox](/tools/dropbox), [Pinata](/tools/pinata) and [UploadThing](/tools/uploadthing). Its MCP server is listed at [Backblaze B2](/tools/backblaze), [Box](/tools/box), [Cloudinary](/tools/cloudinary), [Dropbox](/tools/dropbox) and [Pinata](/tools/pinata).

In forms, the MCP server is listed at [Fillout](/tools/fillout), [Formbricks](/tools/formbricks), [Jotform](/tools/jotform), [SurveyMonkey](/tools/surveymonkey), [Tally](/tools/tally) and [Typeform](/tools/typeform).

## Method and limits

- Products: 193, driven 2026-10-01 to 2026-10-31.
- Numbers: each one links to its definition and the products behind it.
- Limits: Cloudflare has listed our agent as a signed agent since 24 October 2026. Drives before 24 October 2026 ran signed but unlisted: a check could see the signature but had no listed identity to trust. No other bot-check provider lists it yet.
- Every number, with its products: [our facts](/data/facts). How we drive and score: [our method](/method).
