Pipedrive vs Twenty for AI agents
As of 2 Oct 2026, Twenty gets an AI agent further: L4 · Runs on its own against L3 · Does the work.
- Find: Docs for agents: llms.txt, an OpenAPI and an MCP server.
- Access: Sign-up in a browser.
- Use: 71% of the work.
- Pay: Payment not reached.
- Leave: Nothing to cancel: Can't delete its account.
Got in; payment not reached. Next: do 80% of the core work (now 71%)
Our agent gets in on its own: L3 · Does the work, through the free developer sandbox form in a browser, no bot check met along the way. Deletion stopped it first: it deleted every record it created through the API, but found no account or company delete, only "Leave company," with inactive sandboxes purged later. Through the API and the official MCP server it created, moved, converted, searched, filtered and deleted CRM data end to end. Paying needs a human too: the pricing page returned a Cloudflare block, and the regular trial sign-up gave a generic error, so a person has to start the trial and checkout.

Runs on its own: L4 · Runs on its own. Signup, onboarding and the first key need a browser, and invisible reCAPTCHA let our agent through with no challenge shown. Paying is where it stopped: a trial starts without a card, but clicking add credit card at checkout did nothing in our agent's browser, so a person has to add the card. Short of that, Twenty worked headless: REST and an official MCP server let it create a company and read it back, with tools covering records, custom objects, views and workflows. Cancelling and deleting the workspace both worked on their own, with no card ever added.

Pipedrive or Twenty: what the difference means.
Pipedrive reaches L3 · Does the work: our agent gets in on its own and runs CRUD on organizations and deals through REST and MCP. It then stopped at delete. The API and sandbox settings offer no account or company delete, only Leave company; Pipedrive's docs point to an automatic purge after inactivity. Twenty reaches L4 · Runs on its own: the workspace our agent creates can be deleted too, through Settings > General > Delete workspace, after which the API returns WORKSPACE_NOT_FOUND.
For an agent builder
Pick Pipedrive for direct CRUD on organizations and deals through REST and MCP. Sign-up needs only a browser form, no CAPTCHA, and the sandbox skips email verification; our agent copied the API token itself. Starting the trial still needs a person, since the pricing page blocks our agent. Pick Twenty for broader automation: its MCP server and REST/GraphQL also cover custom objects, views and workflow steps. Invisible reCAPTCHA let our agent through at sign-up. The card still needs a person: Subscribe Now never opened the form for our agent.
For the owners
Pipedrive could add an account or company delete, the way Twenty's Delete workspace already works. Twenty could fix the Subscribe Now > Add credit card step so it reacts for an automated browser.
