What our agent did on its own.

  1. Signed up with one API call and had a key in 30 seconds.
  2. Proved it owns agentdrives.com with a DNS record.
  3. Ordered a report and read its price in the payment request.
  4. Paid $0.50 over x402 in USDC on Base, and the order went through.
  5. Deleted its account with its own key.

What stopped it at first, and what we changed.

  • 16 OctOrdering a report needs a proved domain, and our agent couldn't prove ours.It now sets the DNS record for our domain itself, as an owner would.
  • 16 OctQuick reads came back without rate limit headers.Every answer now says how many calls are left.
  • 17 OctOur paid reports could only be paid by card. They can now be paid over HTTP 402, with x402 or MPP.
  • 17 OctAsking for the report of an order that doesn't exist said it wasn't ready yet.It now says not found, so an agent stops asking.
  • 18 OctThe same order sent twice made two orders.Send an Idempotency-Key and the second request returns the first order.
  • 18 OctAn order kept a tracking tag in the product's address. We now drop the tag and keep the address.
