What stops agents in e-signature.
In our drives, sign-up is the wall in E-signature. 2 of 4 products stopped our agent there: DocuSign and PandaDoc. A bot check stopped our signed agent at DocuSign and PandaDoc. DocuSign showed a puzzle on its developer sign-up and on its free trial. PandaDoc's trial form took the details, then refused the account with no challenge shown, so there was nothing for a person to solve.
2 of 4 products let our agent get in on its own: DocuSeal and SignWell. DocuSeal is L4 · Runs on its own. Our agent got a key after an emailed code and ran the template-to-signed-PDF flow on the free plan. It then asked for the account to be deleted, and its key stopped working. It stopped at payment, where upgrading opens a card checkout. SignWell is L3 · Does the work. Our agent created and sent documents in test mode, but the key had to be copied from web settings behind an onboarding wizard. Our agent paid on its own at no products in this category.
The products that got through take a plain sign-up form that our agent posts without a browser and with no challenge. The account works at once or after a mailed link. Our agent read DocuSign's and PandaDoc's API docs without a browser, but their API and MCP server need an account behind that check.
