What stops agents in product analytics.

In our drives, sign-up was the first checkpoint our agent did not pass on its own at 3 of 4 products. A bot check stopped our signed agent at 3 of 4. Amplitude rejected it with an invisible reCAPTCHA after the email step. Heap showed a reCAPTCHA image puzzle when the form was submitted. PostHog ends its web form with a Cloudflare Turnstile "Verify you are human". Its documented headless sign-up answered 403 "Account creation is not enabled for this partner".

Mixpanel is the product our agent gets into on its own (1 of 4). It reaches L3 · Does the work: gets in on its own and does at least half the core work. Its sign-up form showed no CAPTCHA, and the magic-link mail arrived. The key still came from a dashboard in a browser: a service account made in Project Settings. With it, imports, exports, feature flags, experiments and boards worked headless. Analysis queries answer 402 on the free plan. Our agent stopped at deleting the account: deletion is a web button, and the service account still got 200 right after.

Mixpanel's sign-up form showed our signed agent no challenge, and that is where our agent got in. At Amplitude and Heap, the challenge on the sign-up form is where it stopped, though their docs already serve agents with llms.txt, Markdown pages and OpenAPI specs. PostHog documents a headless sign-up, but in our drives it answered 403, which left only the web form and its challenge.
