What stops agents in website builders.
Sign-up was the first checkpoint our agent did not pass on its own at 3 of 5 products: Framer, Squarespace and Wix. A bot check stopped our signed agent on at least one way in at 4 of 5. Wix showed a reCAPTCHA checkbox on its sign-up form. Framer and Squarespace refused the sign-up with no challenge shown.
At Carrd, sign-up worked from the builder's Publish panel. Verification then stopped our agent: the Verify Account button shows a reCAPTCHA picture challenge, so the site never went live. Where our agent got a key, at 2 of 5, it had to be copied from a dashboard in a browser.

In our drive, Webflow's sign-up form showed our signed agent no challenge and let it through. Its verification mail held a plain link. Its MCP server registered our agent and exchanged the sign-in code through API calls. Sign-up is the step where our agent stopped at Framer, Squarespace and Wix.
