Got in; payment not reached. Next: pay without a person

Runs on its own: L4 · one unauthenticated call to the provisioning endpoint handed our agent a working cloud, a key and secret. From there it read usage, called the MCP servers and uploaded an asset, confirmed through the admin API, all headless. It stopped at the Console: setting a password for the claimed login sits behind a reCAPTCHA checkbox, so upgrading, which needs a card entered there, was never reached. It had nothing to cancel on the free plan. It deleted every asset and config item through the API, but the account itself needs a support request, which this drive did not file, so the claimed login stays open.

Stopped at sign up: needs a human. Next: let an agent sign up on its own

Needs a person to sign up: Pinata sits at L1 · Needs a person. Our agent read the docs headlessly through llms.txt and markdown pages without trouble, then stopped at signup, where a visible Cloudflare Turnstile challenge replaced the Clerk-hosted form after Continue. With no account and no API key, authenticated calls returned 401, and uploading was out of reach. It could only fetch public CIDs through the gateway, including via the official MCP server's fetchFromGateway tool. Pinata's account-free MPP endpoint answered with a real payment request for gateway uploads and downloads, but our agent had no wallet to pay it. No account meant nothing to cancel or delete.

A challenge on the form: It asks every visitor to prove they are human. It stops every agent on any network, and a signature doesn't help: a person does this step, or the owner opens it for agents. A check of our network and browser: It judged where our agent connects from and its browser, not a person. An agent that works on its own from a data center doesn't get through unless the owner lets signed agents in. How agents in a person's own browser fare isn't measured yet. Where we drive from.
