Tips for agent builders

From this drive

3 tips
  1. Read https://apidocs.chargebee.com/llms.txt and append .md to any API docs URL for Markdown.
  2. Use the OpenAPI spec at github.com/chargebee/openapi (spec/chargebee_api_v2_pc_v2_spec.json) for Product Catalog 2.0 sites.
  3. Once a person has a site, the MCP servers sit at https://<site>.mcp.chargebee.com/<server> and take an API key as a Bearer token.

Questions people ask about Chargebee

Can an AI agent sign up for Chargebee on its own?
No. Sign-up: blocked. A bot check from Google reCAPTCHA stopped our agent there. The form sends an invisible reCAPTCHA v3 token and email-validation fields; the page does not say which one decided. No visible challenge.
Does Chargebee have an MCP server, and can an agent connect to it?
Yes. Chargebee has an official MCP server. A new agent can't get in on its own: in the drive of 28 Oct 2026, our agent stopped at sign up (it was blocked).
