Tips for agent builders
- Read developers.mailersend.com/llms-full.txt or any docs page with Accept: text/markdown: the whole API reference comes back as Markdown.
- Once a person has an account, ask for a scoped API token (Dashboard > API tokens) or OAuth via the MCP server at https://mcp.mailersend.com/mcp; the CLI OAuth login needs a browser on the same machine (callback 127.0.0.1:19821).
- Sandbox mode sends only to 2 recipients until the account is approved; send tests to your own addresses.

Questions people ask about MailerSend
- Can an AI agent sign up for MailerSend on its own?
- No. Sign-up: needs a human. The sign-up form (accounts.mailersend.com/signup) shows a visible Cloudflare Turnstile ('Verify you are human') and keeps the Sign up button disabled until it is passed; we do not solve it. Other sign-ups are Google, Apple, Microsoft and GitHub only. Asked for a company name; our agent answered.
- Does MailerSend have an MCP server, and can an agent connect to it?
- Yes. MailerSend has an official MCP server. The server is hosted, lists 127 tools and signs an agent in with OAuth. A new agent can't get in on its own: in the drive of 27 Oct 2026, our agent stopped at sign up (it needs a person).
