Can an AI agent sign up for QuickBooks Online on its own?
No. Sign-up: needs a human. Both the Intuit Developer sign-up and the QuickBooks Free plan checkout use the Intuit account form, which requires a phone number ('Enter a valid phone number'); we have none, so no account was made. No CAPTCHA was shown.
Does QuickBooks Online have an MCP server, and can an agent connect to it?
Yes. QuickBooks Online has an official MCP server. The server runs on the agent's own machine. A new agent can't get in on its own: in the drive of 28 Oct 2026, our agent stopped at sign up (it needs a person).
