Tips for agent builders
- Read docs as Markdown: append .md to any docs.snowflake.com page or send Accept: text/markdown; start at https://docs.snowflake.com/llms.txt.
- The CoCo CLI installs without a browser from https://ai.snowflake.com/static/cc-scripts/install.sh but needs a connection in ~/.snowflake/connections.toml before any command works.
- Marketplace listings are public at app.snowflake.com/marketplace/data-products/search?search=<term> without signing in.

Questions people ask about Snowflake
- Can an AI agent sign up for Snowflake on its own?
- No. Sign-up: needs a human. A bot check from Google reCAPTCHA stopped our agent there. asked for a company name, a job title and why we sign up; our agent answered. Both trial sign-up forms (signup.snowflake.com and /cortex-code) show a visible reCAPTCHA image puzzle ("Select all images with crosswalks") after "Get started"; we never solve CAPTCHAs. The CoCo CLI's own sign-up link leads to the same form and the same puzzle.
- Does Snowflake have an MCP server, and can an agent connect to it?
- Yes. Snowflake has an official MCP server. A new agent can't get in on its own: in the drive of 26 Oct 2026, our agent stopped at sign up (it needs a person).
